Bergamot
Citrus aurantium var. bergonia
From the citrus family, bergamot is a fresh, slightly spicy, sweet, warm aroma which enhances positive energy and is balancing and useful under stress. Blends well with any citrus, also cedarwood, clary sage, rose geranium, lavender.

Cedarwood
Atlas Cedrus atlantica
The sweet woody aroma of cedarwood is warm and soothing and sets an air of serenity and peace, leaving a long-lasting aroma. Blends well with clary sage, frankincense, petitgrain and ylang ylang.

Caution: Avoid during pregnancy.

Clary sage Salvia sclarea
Sweet and musky clary sage promotes an air of tranquility and has long been recommended for PMT and menopause. Clary sage is balancing and is said to enhances creativity and communication. Blends well with bergamot, ylang ylang, rose geranium, lavender, orange and sandalwood.

Caution: Avoid during pregnancy.

Frankincense Boswellia carteri
Rich, sweet and woody, frankincense has long been used to enhance spiritual practice and inner wisdom. Frankincense is soothing and calms  the emotions. Blends well with bergamot, sandalwood, lavender, orange, rose geranium, patchouli and petitgrain.

Rose geranium Pelargonium graveolens
A delightful, sweet floral aroma to create an uplifting and harmonious atmosphere. Blends well with clary sage, lavender, orange, patchouli, petitgrain and ylang ylang.

Grapefruit Citrus paradisi
With its fresh, sweet citrus aroma, grapefruit creates an effect which is uplifting and invigorating. Blends well with lavender, juniper, petitgrain rosewood, frankincense and rose geranium.


Lavender Lavandula angustifolia
A classic, lavender has long been used in healing applications and is an essential in your aromatherapy kit. Lavender is perfect for rest and relaxation, creating a calming and soothing environment. Blends well with citrus oils, cedarwood, clary sage, frankincense, rose geranium.

Lemon Citrus limonum
Clean and fresh the penetrating aroma of lemon uplifts, stimulates and revives. Lemon purifies the air and has been known to stimulate the immune system. Blends well with cedarwood, eucalyptus, lavender, petitgrain, orange and juniper.


Lemongrass
Lemongrass is revitalising and calming as well as a natural deodoriser to cleanse the home and office. Blends well with citrus oils, cedarwood, rose geranium and lavender.

Lime Citrus aurantifolia
Fresh and sweet, lime creates a refreshing and uplifting atmosphere. Blends well with clary sage, lavender, rosemary, ylang ylang and other citrus oils.

Mandarin Citrus reticulata
Both calming and cheerful, Mandarin is a wonderful aroma to use to create a peaceful atmosphere. Blends well with all other citrus oils, lavender, sandalwood and rose geranium.

Orange Citrus sinensis
The sweet, fresh aroma of orange creates an uplifting and tranquil environment with a  warm, relaxing aroma to
unwind in. Blends well with cedarwood, lavender, lemon, petitgrain, rose geranium and ylang ylang.

Patchouli
Pogostemon cablin
Musky, earthy and oriental, patchouli creates a soothing and uplifting mood. Blends well with bergamot, cedarwood, clary sage, lavender, rose geranium, and ylang ylang.

Peppermint
Methum peperita
This minty, clean, refreshing aroma creates an uplifting and reviving ambience. As a room freshener, peppermint is cleansing and purifying. Blends well with citrus oils, clary sage, lavender, and rosemary.


Sandalwood Santalum spicatum
Sandalwood has long been used to enhance the spirit . Warm, deep and sensual, sandalwood creates an air which is grounding, calming and blissful. Blends well with frankincense, jasmine, mandarin, rosewood, lavender and ylang ylang.

Ylang Ylang
Cananga odorato

The aroma of ylang ylang is exotic, sensual, sweet and spicy and encourages a relaxed atmosphere. Set an oriental mood at your summer parties by burning ylang ylang. Blends well with bergamot, frankincense, lavender, orange and rose geranium.
